| Description: |
The Truellyn sank in 1972 and was subsequently salvaged but was found to badly
damaged to be repaired. Therefore, it was stripped and deliberately sunk as
a dive site. The hull is significantly tilted on it's starboard side but is almost totally intact. The cabin roof is missing exposing the internal structure. The bow and stern planking plus the cockpit remain in position. The hull is constructed of wood and is similar in shape to that of modern day sailing yachts. The engine remains in place below the cockpit. The mast and other elements of the rigging are missing. |
